Three developments, three completely different drainage strategies.
The difference isn't design preference. It's just what the ground will actually accept.
π Where infiltration works, the water stays on site. Soakaway crates, raingardens, permeable construction.
π Where it doesn't but there's an outfall, the job becomes storage and control. Tanked attenuation, permeable paving, a flow control chamber.
π Where the site is tight and the rate is low, every square metre works twice. Raingardens, a detention basin, greenfield-rate discharge.
Same standards, same hierarchy. Three strategies that look nothing alike. That's why the ground data comes before the design. π
