Before & After – Exterior Property Maintenance | Crowthorne

Another exterior property maintenance project completed by Crest Property Maintenance in Crowthorne.

This project included restoration of the exterior timberwork, with the existing beams carefully sanded, prepared and treated with a fresh wood stain. The tiled roof was also fully de-mossed and the verge relaid where required.

Another exterior property maintenance project completed by Crest Property Maintenance in Crowthorne.

This project involved restoring the existing exterior timber beams, which had become weathered and were in need of preparation and treatment, alongside roof maintenance works including a full de-moss and relaying of the verge.

The exterior timberwork was carefully sanded down to remove the deteriorated existing finish and prepare the surfaces correctly. Surrounding render, windows and adjoining areas were then thoroughly masked and protected before a fresh wood stain was applied, restoring the appearance of the timber while providing continued protection from the elements.

The tiled roof was also fully de-mossed, removing the build-up of moss and organic growth across the roof covering. As part of the roofing works, the verge was relaid where required to leave the roofline secure and neatly finished.

Another soffit and property improvement transformation completed.

This project involved replacing an existing soffit system after extensive vegetation growth was found to be concealing a number of underlying issues. Following investigation, asbestos-containing materials, deteriorated support timbers, damaged brickwork and additional remedial works were identified throughout the existing structure.

We then carried out vegetation clearance to create safe access before removing the existing soffits and asbestos materials. Timber strengthening works, brickwork repairs and additional insulation were completed to ensure the area was rebuilt correctly and ready for installation.

The job was then finished with new white UPVC soffit boards, trims and associated materials, together with cable management works and all necessary finishing details — giving the property a clean, low-maintenance finish.
