Another project successfully completed over in Shinfield 📍🏡

This garage roof had reached the end of its life, with the main support rafter completely rotten and beginning to collapse, making the roof unsafe and beyond repair.

We started by removing the old garage roof sheets before stripping out all the rotten timber. Any damaged rafters were replaced with new treated timber, and we installed additional rafters across the garage to create a strong, solid framework for the new roof.

Next, we fitted new OSB roof boards throughout before installing a high-performance 3-layer felt roofing system, consisting of 2 underlays and a durable mineral top coat. This provides a long-lasting, weatherproof finish designed to withstand the elements for years to come.

We also rebuilt the small lean-to roof down the side alley, replacing all the old timber framework and fitting brand-new polycarbonate roofing sheets to create a clean, strong, and watertight finish.

Another successful project completed over in Woodley 📍🏡

This was a little different from our usual roofing work, but no job is too big or too small!

The outdoor sauna roof had been leaking, causing water to soak into the timber and leading to damage over time. We removed the old worn-out shingles and replaced them with a brand-new EPDM rubber roof, creating a durable, watertight finish that’s built to last.

To improve drainage and protect the structure even further, we also installed new guttering on both sides of the sauna. This will help direct rainwater away from the base, preventing water from splashing back and reducing the risk of timber rot in the future.

This property was in need of some attention, so we carried out a full roof restoration to bring it back to its best.

✅ All moss was carefully removed by hand from the main roof and lower roofs before applying a professional anti-fungal treatment to help prevent future moss growth and keep the roof looking cleaner for longer.

✅ We removed the old ridge line and failing mortar before installing a brand-new dry ridge system, providing a stronger, longer-lasting, and maintenance-free solution.

✅ On the side of the property, the fascia board had become loose and the verge mortar was deteriorating. We removed the damaged materials, fitted a new white fascia board, and rebuilt the mortar verge to leave the roofline secure, weatherproof, and looking as good as new.

A small job completed for one of my grandad’s oldest friends. 📍

Sadly, my grandad isn’t with us anymore, so whenever one of his lifelong friends gives me a call, I’ll always do my best to get there as soon as I can. Loyalty and respect mean everything. 💯

For this job, we removed the old, failing mortar from the front porch verge and rebedded the tiles using a strong, fresh mortar mix to make it solid and secure again.

While we were there, we also repaired the top dormer verge, where the cement had started to fall away.

A couple of small jobs the team has recently completed in the local area. 📍🔨

✅ Removed the old fascia boards and guttering from the front and rear of the property, replacing them with brand-new white uPVC fascia boards and new guttering for a clean, low-maintenance finish.

✅ Removed the failed mortar from the ridge line and upgraded it to a new dry ridge system, providing a stronger, longer-lasting, and maintenance-free solution.

The team has been back to a previous customer’s property in Winnersh. 📍🔨

This time, we removed the old flat roof and existing roof boards before installing new OSB decking and a high-quality EPDM rubber roofing system for a durable, long-lasting finish.

A job the team completed a little while ago in Lower Earley. 📍🏡

This roof required a full strip back due to leaks and damage. We removed all of the existing roof tiles, old mortar, worn felt, and battens where holes and deterioration had allowed water ingress.

We then installed new breathable roofing felt and treated timber battens, carefully redressed the lead flashing, and finished the roof with a neatly pointed cement ridge line for a strong, weatherproof finish.

Another job completed over in shinfield removing some old lead that’s cracked and didn’t have enough overlap. This was a decorative lead work under a bay window so we had to follow through and match it but better suited to the area so we have enough overlap to stop driving rain coming in.
