Heatwave hitting hard? 🥵
If certain rooms in your house turn into ovens come afternoon, it's usually down to the glass. Old or single-glazed windows let heat pour straight in, then trap it.
A few things worth knowing:
✅Modern A-rated glass reflects a chunk of that solar heat back out, so south-facing rooms stay noticeably cooler
✅It works both ways — the same glass keeps warmth in come winter, so you're not paying twice over
✅Trickle vents and openable sections let you air the house out on those stuffy evenings without flinging everything wide open
