BURN HOT, BURN CLEAN
Here is today's 'Top of the Pots' (chimney pots that is) tip of the day.
Did you know that if your stove isn’t burning hot enough, it creates unnecessary smoke, soot and pollution?
✔ Use dry seasoned wood (aim for 10% to 20% moisture content)
✔ Don’t close air controls too much
✔ Let the stove reach proper operating temperature
A hot fire burns the gases properly, that means cleaner air, better heat, and less tar in your flue!
