Whilst working in the industry, Niall observed a distinct generalised view customers had of the plumbing service sector. No hot water! 🙈🙈🙈🙈

Hard water in the south east is really bad, so when you change an immersion on a hot water cylinder it’s always important to get one that is designed for hard water areas to help maximise the life.

Making sure the temperature is not set to high this will help:

✅ Reduce the reduce electricity bills saving money 💰
✅ Protect brassware and shower cartridges ⚔️
✅ Reduce scale 🎉

Rule of thumb if you can’t keep your hand under hot water for more than 10 seconds it’s too hot!!

Radiators keep leaking!!

The central heating water on this system was continually rusty and all the radiators had been replaced.
Quick investigation found the coil in the hot water tank had split and the central heating water was mixing with the domestic hot water to the taps 😬😬😬😬😬

New Gledhill tank going in today=problem solved
