The Met Office’s latest three month outlook suggests the UK is more likely to experience hotter than average conditions throughout summer 2026.

We’ve already seen temperatures reach 33°C in May, and demand for air conditioning continues to grow as UK summers become warmer year after year.

Many people still think of air conditioning as a luxury, but increasingly it is becoming a practical home improvement for comfort throughout the year.

Modern air conditioning systems provide efficient cooling during summer heatwaves and economical heating during the cooler months, making them a versatile solution for year-round temperature control.

As UK summers continue to get hotter, more homeowners are choosing to get ahead of the heat rather than wait for the next heatwave to arrive.

Before → After: Full heating system upgrade
We removed an outdated Johnson & Starley warm air unit and direct hot water cylinder, freeing up two full airing cupboards. In their place, we installed a modern combi boiler neatly housed within a kitchen wall unit, along with a complete central heating system and brand new radiators throughout.
This conversion delivers improved efficiency, instant hot water, and full control over heating across the property.
