We are pleased to share our latest case study, delivered for ARC UK Systems an award winning UK managed IT services provider supporting businesses nationwide.

At the start of 2025, Infiniti IT was appointed to assess and upgrade the critical data centre infrastructure, increasing capacity and efficiency while protecting live customer services.

The solution included:

• Fully phased data centre design and build, including project management and CDM compliant site supervision
• Hybrid free cooling systems, increasing N+1 cooling capacity from approximately 40kW to 64kW
• A 75kW modular N+1 UPS system, replacing the legacy 40kW UPS
• Temporary cooling and generator support to maintain resilience throughout the works
• Upgraded A and B electrical distribution infrastructure
• Intelligent PDUs and dual 32A cabinet feeds, increasing cabinet capacity from approximately 3kW to up to 7kW
• Modern DCIM and BMS controls for improved power visibility and environmental monitoring
• Water leak detection,
• Integrated testing, training and formal handover

The upgrade was delivered with zero unplanned downtime during both major migration events. Estimated PUE improved from 1.32 to 1.08, supporting lower energy consumption and operating costs.

The result is a more resilient, scalable and efficient data centre, giving Arc Systems the capacity and operational visibility to support its next phase of growth.
