A lovely little engineered wood flooring job over in Kidlington; Oxfordshire this week. Day 1, prep and self level. Leave to dry. Day 2, lay engineered oak wood flooring in plank, in this lovely oak colour.

The finished product is a lovely new dining room for our lovely customers 😌😌

Side note - unfortunately the day we finished was VERY dark and grey and the so were a little disappointed with the after images… Laura is going to try and go back on a brighter day (old house, not much natural light!) and get some better images on her camera! We’re well aware these images don’t do our work the justice it deserves - because trust us —— this floor was INCREDIBLE!

We had a LOT of prep to do here - and the thing that sometimes people don’t realise is that the journey to that perfect floor you want to achieve is ALL in the prep work. We will make sure that floor is absolutely prepped to perfection in order to deliver a seamless finish and a floor that’s going to stand the test of time 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

Apologies for the bad lighting in this video - we took it once it had gotten dark and this is an old cottage with old lighting!

But if you can tell, this LVT flooring was the perfect choice for this property. It has character, the colour is gorgeous and in keeping with a “cottage feel”. It goes well with the painted beams, it’s just GORGEOUS and really compliments this home so well.

The finished result from last week’s LVT job over in Tetsworth, Oxfordshire.

There are so many benefits to a glue down LVT - (we’ve used here) one of them being that you can flow the flooring through to each room without putting in thresholds ➡️ creating a really seamless finish 😍

Other benefits of LVT include

▪️ super hard wearing & durable, great for busy homes and especially those with children and pets
▪️ Scratch resistant - not easily scratched and marked with furniture, heels, toys…
▪️ Water proof. Safe from spills, leaks, wellies!
▪️ Warm and comfortable underfoot
▪️ looks like wood with a cheaper price tag!

We’ve spent all week fitting this Ted Todd flooring that the customers had fallen in love with, and it has finished off their already perfect home. This was the final touch and isn’t it BEAUTIFUL 🥲
