ANNOUNCEMENT!

After 15 wonderful years of being self-employed it’s time for me to embark on a new journey, a decision that’s not been made lightly. But I feel like the time is right and it’s the right decision for me and my family.

As of the 1st July 2025 I will begin a new adventure and will be going into the world of teaching at Abingdon and Witney college as a carpentry lecturer.

This is a huge career change for me but will still be familiar as it’s still in carpentry, it’s going to be challenging but I’m more than ready and I’m so very excited to get started!

I will still be taking on work but much smaller weekend jobs (the odd door hanging) bigger jobs can be done in half terms

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who has ever shared, liked or commented on my page/work or supported me in anyway and to all my customers/builders over the last few years iv been blessed with some great projects and for that I thank you!

This isn’t good bye the page and inbox will remain open but for now it’s farewell.

Officially out of office! It’s holiday time and it couldn’t have come at a better time for me iv been so busy and iv definitely earned a little brake and I get to spend some time with my baby boy can’t wait! 😍

The fun never stops I am taking my lap top to do some pricing! If you are waiting on a quote you will have them this weekend

I’ll be back to work and replying to any enquiry’s from Monday 14th April! Until then all the very best and thank you for your continued support and business

Following on from my last post in the same house in ducklington

I built this built in larder unit the client wanted large thick rustic looking shelves so we fitted new scaffolding boards at her request and gave them a sand down do she dosnt get splinters🔥🔥

The boards aren’t quite deep enough so I got more than was needed to join boards together to achieve the required depth!

The customer is going to stain these a dark colour so that it has a more aged feel to them😍

The customer was also undecided if they wanted doors on this unit so I have left it open for now with future proofing so that at some point she dose want door it’s going to be easy to do! 🔥🔥

Little preview of a book case made in the work shop this week all ready to go to its new home

After beeing off ill the first week back after Christmas this was a lovely job to start off my working year

As you can see this custom book case has fully adjustable shelf’s with lovely miter’d edges so you don’t see any cut edges and will be scribed into the wall

With 2 large storage cupboards underneath also with full adjustable shelving and modern looking flat panel doors that have push to open system so no need for handles

Loved doing this one 🔥

Hand made draws with soft close

And the doors are made to match the existing ones in the property with a push to open so no need for handles 🫡

Units spray painted in the workshop by Abbey Decorators again another outstanding finish by Jake he never lets me down and provides the most professional service and finish, his attention to detail is incredible!

Lovely job completed at the blue cross this week!😍

we formed this stud wall to create a new meeting room we took up the carpet tiles to get a good fixing on the sole plate and later refitted them on completion it’s also insulated with sound proofing and fitted with a disabled access door 🔥

We also fitted 4 1m x 1m double glazed privacy windows at request of the blue cross it is also sound proof and laminated with a satin finish

Really love the out come of this thanks to everyone involved 🔥
