A couple of jobs completed today for different customers.

firstly, removing these old integrated appliances and replacing them with shelves cabinets. we used the old frontals but needed to drill out and install new hinges.

The next job at this property was to replace the bathroom mixer taps on the basin and bath.

The next job was over at Blackmore End in Braintree, to apply another coat of stain to this wooden workshop, all areas close to windows and hardware were painted by brush, the rest was using the customers 'Black and Decker' hand sprayer.

The lounge decoration was all completed last week, after a slight decision change on the colour, the second time around was spot on.

the ceiling and changing the windows and doors from stained wood to white were the biggest tasks on this project .

The main thing is the customers are extremely pleased with the final result.

A small bedroom decoration job completed yesterday.

The ceiling required a fair amount of preparation work to get it looking nice and smooth, and coving needed to be reattached In a couple of areas.

White durable satinwood was used on all woodwork, The colour used was 'Soft Maplewood 6' from Dulux. The ceiling was painted with Anti Reflex paint for a super flat finish.

Ceiling all complete, all corners were sanded and re-shaped and the main area or ceiling also had sand to remove the worse old roller lines and bits of paint.

The product used was "AF1 ceiling paint" by Albany which is a non reflective super Matt finish to help with large ceilings and lots of natural light.

We're pleased with the finished result.

following on from Tuesday's mess making, yesterday was a day of filling and making good all the cracks and holes.

As mentioned in the previous post, the filling products used were "fill-flex and interior filler" both by Toupret.

Some areas we used expanding foam to fill large gaps and to give something for the filler to adhere too.

New project

we started this lounge decoration on Tuesday, by raking and cutting out all the cracks and loose render.

these cracks were then filled with "fill-flex" by toupret which is a high flexibility filler, once dry this was then skimmed over with interior filler.

we have also started masking up the glass and sanding all the windows and doors as these are going white.

As the temperature wad slightly cooler today, we could actually get into the loft to wire the new led spotlights up.

A little bit of prep was required where the old coving used to be, but all painted white now ready for fitted wardrobe installation.

The first little job for today was to replace an old shower mixer bar that had faulty leaking valves.

we also removed the old shelves that were stuck up and installed new clean Stainless steel ones for the customer.
