U70 UPDATE 11th May 2020 - (COVID‑19)
We are OPEN FOR BUSINESS

As of Monday 11th May, we are taking tentative steps to get our manufacturing systems operating via a staggered and staged approach. As we have done throughout the current situation, we will be operating in line with government social distancing guidelines, and have enhanced hygiene measures in our factory, to ensure the safety of both our staff and customers.

COVID‑19 UPDATE

Since our first announcement at the end of March to temporarily suspend our manufacturing and distribution operations, we have been closely monitoring government statements and industry advice.

Based on the recent government announcement to extend the lockdown and strict social distancing rules, we have decided to continue the temporary closure of manufacturing at all our sites.

We feel that at these extraordinary times, this is the right thing to do to help protect the Health and Safety of our employees, our customers and the wider public.

I can assure you that we are working hard behind the scenes with our Suppliers, Customers and fellow Industry experts, to ensure that we are ready to open in a timely manner as soon as we safely can.

We are hoping if guidance allows to be operating again via a staggered and staged approach from around the 11th of May 2020.

COVID‑19 UPDATE

To all U70 customers.

Following my last message on the current situation, I would like to send U70 best wishes to you our customers and hope that you and your family's are all keeping safe and well.

Other than the key workers we have all found ourselves working from home, and where possible trying to maintain our business.

Here at U70 we are continually speaking with you our customers, and keeping you informed of some of the changes within our business that will assist you in these difficult times whilst maintaining some small normality.

We have received a number of quotations and order enquires, but due to the factory and offices being closed last Tuesday on the instructions of the government and health specialists, we have been unable to process them.

We at U70 have still been working extremely hard to offer this service remotely.

I am please to announce that from Friday 3rd April, any orders or quotations you require can be processed through the [email protected] email address. Unfortunately due to the current situation we will not be able to offer any delivery dates until we return to our office for any orders placed, so please bare with us in returning your enquires.

COVID‑19 Update from Tuesday 24th of March.

Following the government announcement, and the work from home policy with the exception of key workers, U70 have now taken the unfortunate decision to close our manufacturing business with immediate affected.

All deliveries due for today will be made, but there will be no further deliveries hereafter.

U70, at present anticipate reopening on April 14th 2020, however, in line with government reccomendations, we will update any changes to this information, via Mail chimp, Facebook and our website - www.u70.co.uk

Dear Customers
As you all are now aware the Coronavirus is taking hold in all of our day to day lives.

Here at U70 we are continuing with our supply of windows and doors through our manufacturing plant as well as our processing team returning your order acknowledgements.

With regular/daily updates from the Government and scientists we do envisage some disruption from our supply chain and this will of course affect our ability to complete our deliveries to you our customers. (AII though note not at the moment)

Should the Government introduce further movement restrictions it may be necessary to close the factory and offices, if this becomes apparent we would request in the event that should you not be able to contact the office on our normal phone number {01376 511360) that you call one of the following mobiles who will try to assist with your enquiries.
