Here at The Lock Team Wisbech we often get calls for Jammed ignition barrels as quite a few garages recommend us for this service.

95% the ignition barrel isn't the issue, the key is the problem as its often very worn so this then causes a jamming issue.

Whenever we attend a job like this we always look at the keys and use a couple of techniques to eliminate a replacement igntion barrel and most of the time we are able to rectify without a hefty parts bill, and in most cases filling the lock with WD40 isn't the answer 😂😂.

Been a little while since we last posted.

Just thought we would share some of the jobs we have carried out over the last week.

All the jobs have come from recommendations from previous customers and facebook followers and we really do appreciate everyone who does take the time to share our posts and recommend our services.

We really have met some genuine nice people this last week and everyone one of them has appreciated what we have done to assist them with that lost car key, broken key fob, jammed ignition barrel, sticky upvc door lock etc.

We haven't posted for a while, and as its the start of yet another month, thought we would share a few of the jobs we have carried out recently.

Certainly been an up and down few weeks trade wise, but the jobs still roll in as no one knows when that ignition barrel is going to jam, or when your worker will lock the keys in the van, and no one anticipates to lose their one and only car key, but what ever the issue your having lock wise, you can be assured The Lock Team Wisbech are available to assist where we can.

Just a quick post ot what we do here at The Lock Team Wisbech.

Monday morning we get a call from a Customer in Ramsey saying "my patio door will not open, can you fix it? or do I need a new door? as the window guy said parts are discontinued"

We went to the customers address to take a quick look to provide the customer with a quote for what is needed on the same day as the call.

Upon arrival we established it was a gearbox failure and no other parts required and luckily on this occasion parts were in stock at our workshop so job was completed the same day.

Happy customer and another job completed by ourselves saving this customer £££s if they had listened and gone for a new door option.

Monday morning we get a call from a Customer in Wisbech saying "my front door will not open, can you fix it? or do I need a new door? as the last guy said parts are discontinued"

Just a quick post ot what we do here at The Lock Team Wisbech .

We got a message via messenger from a customer based in Stowbridge who had a pair of french upvc doors where the key had been misplaced during moving into the property and they had many local double glazing firms claim to be able to replace the locks but upon arrival went for the hard sale and tried to turn the job into a new installation for new doors claiming parts were discontinued etc etc.

Luckily the customer contacted us via facebook for a quote and on wednesday this week we attended and replaced both euro cylinders for a pair of yale cylinders keyed alike so same key fits both locks supplied with 6 keys so plenty of spares.

Job done within 30 mins and both doors adjusted and lubricated as been closed for a long time.

Thursday evening 7.30pm ish we get a call from a customer

"We have just bought a new van and got home and key will not lock or unlock the van and van sometimes wont start can you help?"

"Yes we can, make model and year and location please?"

Next thing customer is booked in for 10am Friday morning.

10am Friday we arrive and do a few tests on the key and establish key is faulty so we supplied and programmed a genuine Ford Remote key to this stunning 2015 Ford Transit Custom Day van and replaced the transponder part of original key so it could be used as a spare in an emergency.

Just a quick post ot what we do here at The Lock Team Wisbech.

On Tuesday this week we had a call from a private landlord with a house near Wisbech where a previous tenant had moved out of the property but had given a set of keys to a potential squatter, landlord needed the locks changed quickly and keys taking to a local estate agents office, luckily we was recommended by couple of tradesmen and a local estate agent, backed up with our google reviews customer was happy to use our services.

Within 1 hour of the phone call locks were changed and issue resolved quickly.

Midday on Saturday we get a phone call from a customer

"I've lost my only car key and need a new key by monday?"

Our response

"Not a problem but we wont be available until after 5pm today?"

Customer agrees and next thing is at
5.45pm Saturday we arrive on site in Wisbech, by 6.15pm Car is up and running 1 key supplied cut and programmed job done, quite good really bearing in mind as all keys lost.
