🚧 One Month On Site – Costco Norwich 🚧

Friday marked our first full month on site delivering the new Costco development in Norwich for RG Carters – and what a month it's been.

A huge amount of work has been completed in a short space of time, which is a real credit to everyone involved.

A special thank you to our partners JJMac for working alongside us to deliver the earthworks and ground stabilisation on this challenging, congested site, and to SDS for their continued work installing the stormwater attenuation.

In just four weeks we've achieved:

✔️ 12,000m³ of topsoil excavated and removed from site
✔️ 24,000m³ of on-site subsoil cut and moved, creating 20,000m³ of engineered fill
✔️ 12,500m² of warehouse floor slab formation stabilised to achieve a 30% CBR, followed by 100mm of Type 1 sub-base
✔️ 2,130m³ of stormwater attenuation excavated and installed, with a further 2,200m³ currently under construction
✔️ 420m of deep drainage installed to depths of up to 4 metres

With the programme moving at an exceptionally fast pace, every day counts. The commitment, planning and teamwork shown by everyone on site has been outstanding, and it's the reason we've achieved so much in just four weeks.

A huge thank you to our team and supply chain partners for their continued hard work. We look forward to sharing more progress as the project continues.

🎉 Celebrating 25 Years with Darren 🎉

Today we're celebrating an incredible milestone as Darren marks 25 years of service with us.

For a quarter of a century, Darren has been a valued member of the team, bringing dedication, hard work and commitment to everything he does. His loyalty and contribution over the years have played a big part in our journey, and we couldn't be more grateful.

To celebrate the occasion, we took Darren out for a meal... although we were clearly enjoying ourselves too much, because this was the only photo we managed to take! 🙄😂

As a token of our appreciation for his outstanding service, we were delighted to present Darren with a Rolex watch to mark this remarkable achievement.

Darren, thank you for your continued dedication over the last 25 years. Congratulations on this well-deserved milestone—we're proud to have you as part of the team, and here's to many more years ahead! 👏
