🚧 One Month On Site – Costco Norwich 🚧
Friday marked our first full month on site delivering the new Costco development in Norwich for RG Carters – and what a month it's been.
A huge amount of work has been completed in a short space of time, which is a real credit to everyone involved.
A special thank you to our partners JJMac for working alongside us to deliver the earthworks and ground stabilisation on this challenging, congested site, and to SDS for their continued work installing the stormwater attenuation.
In just four weeks we've achieved:
✔️ 12,000m³ of topsoil excavated and removed from site
✔️ 24,000m³ of on-site subsoil cut and moved, creating 20,000m³ of engineered fill
✔️ 12,500m² of warehouse floor slab formation stabilised to achieve a 30% CBR, followed by 100mm of Type 1 sub-base
✔️ 2,130m³ of stormwater attenuation excavated and installed, with a further 2,200m³ currently under construction
✔️ 420m of deep drainage installed to depths of up to 4 metres
With the programme moving at an exceptionally fast pace, every day counts. The commitment, planning and teamwork shown by everyone on site has been outstanding, and it's the reason we've achieved so much in just four weeks.
