Customer said that their bathroom extractor fan had stopped working. On opening the pipework I found all this talcum powder. I asked if they used a lot and they said yes. The extractor had been pulling it into the tube.

Possibly the most dangerous call out I've attended. Customer said she had electricity board turn up to change her meter. He took one look at this and covered it in plastic sheeting. For those that don't know, all the fuseboards had missing covers, hence live parts totally exposed. Absolute death trap as the customer said she quite often has to put her hands up on the boards as they constantly trip out.
