We’re delighted to announce that planning permission and Listed Building Consent has been granted for a contemporary, low-impact extension to a Grade II listed cottage within a Conservation Area in Hampshire.
The extension has been designed as a contemporary addition that complements the historic cottage. With its low-profile flat roof, zinc cladding, and contemporary glazing, the design creates a clear architectural distinction while respecting the character and significance of the listed building.
The carefully considered materials, colour palette, and low-profile design allow the extension to blend into the surrounding landscape, creating a subtle, harmonious relationship between old and new.
We’re particularly pleased that both the Conservation and Planning Officers unanimously supported the proposal, recognising the scheme as sensitive, low-impact and high-quality design.
We’re now looking forward to progressing the project through the technical design stage and into construction.
