Meet Josh your local technician for Wareham and surrounding areas.
Josh, also known as "The Mole King" within the urban team as he holds a record amount of successful treatments. But Josh isn't just a technician or the ruler of moles, as Josh is also the teams manager.
Josh enjoys working within the traditional town of Wareham because of the nice community feel of the area, he says " I enjoy being outside and meeting people, I like to help others to the best of my abilities, I particularly enjoy solving more complex situations for our customers and seeing them satisfied with the service they receive." He also likes that no day is ever the same within the pest control industry.
In Josh's spare time, when he isn't at work or spending time with his young family Josh is often found at nearby fishing lakes, and more recently Josh has become a keen darts player.

Meet Ryan, your local Technician for Weymouth.

Ryan may be a familiar face at Urban Pest Control, you may have seen him in articles in the Blackmore Vale magazine or seen his images in exhibitions at Bournemouth Arts University but this is because Ryan isn't just a pest control technician but also a Falconer for Urban Pest Control, Ryan and his team of birds of prey are always happy to share their experiences, teach others about the role of a falconer and preserving this historic art form.
Ryan enjoys working within the Weymouth area as he always has a great view of the coast and being local himself, he understands the needs of his customers and will always try to offer them the best solution. Ryan is also the go to technician for other towns too such as Bridport, Portland and Dorchester. But the most surprising place Ryan has carried out a pest control visit is to a secret underground bunker!

Meet John, your local technician for Bournemouth.

John has been a member of the Urban team for a few years now, but it still amazes him how everyday can be so different, "Bournemouth has a variety of pest issues due to the many different types of businesses in the town, one day I could be tasked with doing a routine service inspection for rodents then I'm investigating an ant issue and many pests in between, but my favourite problem to solve are wasps nests, as they come in all shapes and sizes and can also be very different from one another, such as within a loft space or outside in a tree." John doesn't just cover the Seaside towns of Bournemouth, Boscombe and Southbourne but he also offers pest control in Christchurch.

When John isn't in the Bournemouth area tackling Pest issues he is often found working out hard in the gym, John also has a keen interest in cars, and going for a strolls along the beach with his girlfriend and the dog.

As you may remember John Mullin was back in the classroom recently to refresh his knowledge with the theory side of pest control, the course ended with a very lengthy and in-depth exam. But, we are extremely pleased to share with you that John passed his RSPH course.
Our Directors Matt & Kelly had the pleasure of catching up with John for a coffee at Sobo Beach to give him the good news and to present him with his certificate in the sunshine.

A nice suppliers breakfast meeting this morning to start the day with Tim Bloomer from Killgerm Chemicals Ltd, what a Lovely surprise to be presented with this amazing Harrods Hamper that Matt won whilst at for Killgerm's Easter Raffle.

This time last week our directors Matt & Kelly were enjoying the London night life in Soho alongside fellow Pest Control Companies at one of our suppliers, Lodi UK 's fun filled Party. Many Thanks to Matt Lodi for the invite and for a great evening full of many laughs with our friends from Pure Pest & Opkill Pest Control.

Day 2 at ExCeL London for PestEx 2026 for Matt and Kelly but today they were join by some other members of the team, Andrew, Ryan and John.
They have all had a fantastic day discussing all things pest control with suppliers and networking with likeminded people. Days like to toady are so important as the team are able to bounce ideas around, test new products and stay up to date with in industry talks.
