An enjoyable working lunch last week with Tim Bloomer at The Old Thatch Wimborne, Tim Bloomer is one of our valued sales reps for Killgerm Chemicals Ltd but sadly he will be stepping down from this role in the coming months.
Our Director Matt reflects back on their many meetings together, " I met Tim 14 years ago, in a restaurant in Poole Quay, just before I started Urban Pest Control, he has always offered his full support and been on hand with technical advice, we have shared many fun moments together during his networking events and I now consider Tim as a friend"
We would like to take the opportunity to wish Tim the best of luck in his new job role, you will be greatly missed but they will gain a wonderful asset to their team.

Each month Defender hold a friendly competition called "Installer of the month", They decided to introduce 3 special guest judges to this series. The third and final judge is our very own Director, Matt.

June’s Installer of the Month is officially open, and this month the judging baton is being handed to Matt Phillips from Urban Pest Control . The last but by no means least in our series of 3 guest judges 🏆🐦

Matt has been in pest control for 20 years and has been Director of Urban Pest Control for 13 years, so he knows his way around a tricky bird job.

He loves bird work because no two jobs are the same. Different sites, different problems and sometimes a clever mix of methods to get the best result.

So what will impress him?

Attention to detail, smart product choices, combined methods, safe access and, of course, those lovely little details that turn a good job into a trophy worthy one. 😄

Meet Josh your local technician for Wareham and surrounding areas.
Josh, also known as "The Mole King" within the urban team as he holds a record amount of successful treatments. But Josh isn't just a technician or the ruler of moles, as Josh is also the teams manager.
Josh enjoys working within the traditional town of Wareham because of the nice community feel of the area, he says " I enjoy being outside and meeting people, I like to help others to the best of my abilities, I particularly enjoy solving more complex situations for our customers and seeing them satisfied with the service they receive." He also likes that no day is ever the same within the pest control industry.
In Josh's spare time, when he isn't at work or spending time with his young family Josh is often found at nearby fishing lakes, and more recently Josh has become a keen darts player.
