This chimney needed some serious attention, All lead work fully stripped out and replaced with new,
New front apron,
New soakers,
New flashings.

The existing mortar joints around the chimney stack were found to be failing. The chimney was therefore ground out to remove the defective mortar and subsequently fully repointed using appropriate mortar to restore structural integrity. Once repointing works were completed, the chimney stack was treated with a protective water seal to help prevent moisture pe*******on and extend the lifespan of the masonry. Due to lack of maintenance over a number years, the guttering system had become heavily clogged with debris, and the outlets were fully blocked, causing water overflow and other related issues.

Fascia Replacement
The existing timber fascia board was removed due to deterioration. A new fascia board was supplied and installed, ensuring secure fixing and proper alignment.
Slate Removal & Eaves Course Adjustment
Slates were carefully stripped back in the affected area to allow the eaves (eva) course to be correctly fixed and aligned. Once adjustments were completed, the slates were reinstalled to maintain proper weatherproofing and roof integrity.
Chimney Maintenance & Repointing
Vegetation was removed from the chimney stack to prevent structural damage and water ingress. Damaged mortar joints were identified and patch-pointed where necessary to restore stability and improve weather resistance.
