Completed the drainage this week. Terrible ground conditions but I managed to get through it. Just waiting for trusses now so I can continue with the build.

I'm not saying these bricks are dry, but I'm having to soak them like this at least 4 times right before laying them. It's not half slowing the job down 😫

Job update, blue engineering bricks up to dpc, rear elevation propped, temp wall extended, rear elevation completely dropped, steel installed and tidied up. Just need to build the pillars now then I can get on with building the main structure 😁

Delivery driver - "where do you want your blocks?"

Me - "double stacked tight to the front of the garage please mate, because I have to get 4 packs of bricks dropped in front of them"

Driver - "no problem, you crack on and I'll sort it"

Concrete delivery due this morning but it's put so much rain down since I prepped the slab I've had to wet vac the majority of the water from between the mesh. I don't mind pouring concrete if it's a bit wet but this looked like a swimming pool before I started 🙈🤣

Quite a productive couple of days, I've managed to get the slab prepped for concrete. Building inspector coming Wednesday morning. Then concrete after that 👍🏻 even had a bit of assistance off Elijah on Monday. He's a little grafter 👊🏻
