Running the business from my bedroom in a two-up two-down. The lads coming to my back garden for materials. Buying our first unit in Wigan for £17k - no water, no electric, no gas, just a glorified garage we did up ourselves. And the £35,000 lesson that taught me to run this place properly.

"He ghosted me… so I hunted him down." 😅

Here's a little clip from Episode 1. Two years into my plumbing course and I could NOT get an apprenticeship anywhere. Then I got chatting to a fella in the boxes at the old DW Stadium who ran a heating company — he told me to come and see him, then disappeared on me.

I wasn't giving up that easy. What happened next is genuinely how Ace Gas NW got started.
