🚨 GATHURST PROJECTS LTD – OFFICIAL FLEET UPDATE! 🚨

Well folks, what a week it’s been! 😂

As some of you may have seen, we recently embraced the government’s vision of a greener future and decided to trial cargo bikes as our new company fleet. 🚲🌱

Things were going reasonably well… until we stopped for a pie! 🥧

One steak pie later, half our tools had disappeared, the cargo bike was looking a bit worse for wear, and we were left questioning our life choices! 🤦‍♂️😂

Following an emergency board meeting (held over another pie), we’ve decided enough is enough!

We’re going back to diesel! 🚛💨

However, in the spirit of remaining environmentally conscious, we’ve decided to keep things green…

Well, GREENGRASS to be precise! 😂

The director has now fully embraced his inner Claude Jeremiah Greengrass.

Flat cap on, string holding his trousers up, pie in hand and a good old-fashioned diesel workhorse parked outside!

✅ No more pedalling uphill with a cement mixer

✅ Tools actually make it to the job

✅ Pie stops are officially reinstated

✅ String is considerably cheaper than a belt

✅ And the only thing getting greener is the grass!

We tried going green… now we’re going GREENGRASS! 🌱🤣

Normal building services will resume shortly, providing the director hasn’t disappeared down the pub to negotiate a deal on a second-hand tractor!

🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM GATHURST PROJECTS LTD! 🚨

🚛💨 WE’RE GOING BACK TO DIESEL! 😂

After a rather unsuccessful trial of our new environmentally friendly cargo bike fleet, we’ve decided enough is enough!

Our director has gone full Claude Jeremiah Greengrass and invested in some good old-fashioned British motoring! 🤣

No charging points, no flat batteries, no pedalling uphill with 20 bags of plaster…

Just a flat cap, a tank full of diesel and a vehicle that probably hasn’t seen an MOT since 1973! 😂

We can’t promise we’ll get there quickly, but we’ll get there eventually!

💙💚 Well, we thought it was about time we made things official… 💍😂

After spending most of the year at the pumps, we’ve decided to take our relationship with BP to the next level! ⛽💸

It’s been an expensive relationship, but apparently we’re committed now! 🤣

Here’s to another week of hard graft, empty fuel tanks and an even emptier wallet! 🚐🔨

🚨 FLEET UPDATE – GATHURST PROJECTS LTD 🚨🚲

Unfortunately, our new environmentally friendly cargo bike fleet may have to be abandoned! 🤦‍♂️😂

Only pulled up for five minutes to grab a pie 🥧 and came back to find we’d been robbed of absolutely everything! 🔧🪚

Bike’s on bricks, tools gone, the lot! 😭

We’ve reported the incident to the police and are currently awaiting forensics… apparently there’s a 3-week waiting list! 👮‍♂️🔍

On a positive note, at least we’re doing our bit for the environment! 🌍😂

Anyway, has anyone got a hammer we can borrow? 🔨🤣

In the interests of complete transparency, our Director has been out this week trialling the latest addition to the Gathurst Projects fleet.

Following recent suggestions that tradespeople could make greater use of cargo bikes, we thought we’d give it a go.

We’re pleased to report it’s going brilliantly… although the Iveco might not be getting sold just yet. 😂
