It’s the little details that make all the difference! 🏫✨

As part of our recent works at a local primary school, we installed a glass panel within a new stud wall & finished it off perfectly with the school’s logo.

It’s a small touch, but one that adds a real sense of identity to the space 👌

For us, it’s not just about getting the job done, it’s about taking pride in the finer details & making sure every element of a project is finished to a high standard.

Because sometimes, it’s the finishing touches that make a project stand out! 🤩

Another WC Upgrade 🛠️👷‍♂️

What did the job involve?

🚽 Removing the existing toilets & carrying out a complete refurbishment
🚪 Installing additional toilet cubicles to improve facilities
♿ Creating a brand-new accessible toilet from scratch

With tight timescales, specialist materials dependent on nominated suppliers & unforeseen structural issues to overcome, this scheme certainly kept us on our toes!

By working closely with specialist suppliers & bringing in a structural engineer for expert advice, we were able to tackle the unexpected challenges & keep the project moving forward.

It's all about teamwork, problem-solving & finding the right solutions to deliver the best possible results 🤝

Celebrating 13 Years of Dedication at Parklands Services! 🎉

A huge congratulations to Beki Edwards, who has reached an incredible 13 years of dedicated service with Parklands Services! 👏

Beki’s journey is one we’re incredibly proud of. She started with Parklands as a Reactive Call Handler and, over the years, has continued to learn, develop and take on new challenges.

Along the way, Beki put her business degree to great use, achieving an outstanding First Class Honours 🎓, and has gone on to take on a number of key roles within the business.

From managing the Reactive Division, to leading on HR, and now in her latest role as Business Manager, working alongside Managing Director Shaun Edwards, Beki’s career has gone from strength to strength.

Today, Shaun presented Beki with her long service award and a small gift as a thank you for 13 years of hard work, commitment and dedication.

It’s fantastic to see how far you’ve come, Beki, and we’re excited to see what the next chapter brings.

Well done, Beki - and thank you for everything you’ve contributed to Parklands Services over the last 13 years! 🥂👏

From Rainbow Room to Ready-to-Use WCs! 🌈🚻

As part of a wider scheme of works, we converted this primary school’s small Rainbow Room into a brand-new toilet facility, making better use of the existing space & creating a practical addition for pupils & staff.

From stripping out the existing room to installing new sanitaryware, finishes & everything needed behind the scenes, the space has had a complete transformation ✨

From Nursery Room to Staffroom! 🧸➡️☕

We took an existing nursery room & gave it a complete new purpose, transforming the space into a comfortable & practical staffroom for the school team ✨

The scheme was started & completed within the first three weeks of the summer holidays, which the school was absolutely made up with! 🙌

And the best part?

Since completing the works, we’ve been asked to quote for further improvements at the school, with those works now approved too 👏

What a great way to kick off our summer projects! ☀️👷‍♂️

Roald Dahl Day is coming up! 📖✨

As a company that works extensively in schools & educational settings, we know just how important creating positive, inspiring spaces for children to learn & grow really is ❤️

So, to celebrate Roald Dahl Day, we’ll be dropping in at schools to donate his book collection, helping more children discover the joy of reading & the magic of his unforgettable stories 🎁📚

It’s a mission that reminds us of another incredible champion of children & books - Dolly Parton 🌟

Through her Imagination Library, Dolly has helped put hundreds of millions of books into the hands of children around the world, giving them the opportunity to explore, learn & dream 🌍💫

Two very different legacies, but the same powerful message:
- Books matter
- Stories matter
- Giving children the chance to imagine matters 💭

Let’s inspire the next generation of readers, dreamers & changemakers 🚀📚

A special night at the DW Stadium 🏉🌹

We were honoured to attend the Wigan Warriors vs Hull KR game last week, a particularly special evening celebrating the life & incredible achievements of Sir Billy Boston, following his recent passing.

It was a privilege to be there alongside the Wigan community to celebrate an incredible man & his lasting legacy 🍒⚪

And what a result for Wigan Warriors, taking the win 46–0! 👏

There was also a little excitement for our Managing Director, who won a signed rugby ball after coming closest to guessing the matchday gate! 🎉

A brilliant evening, surrounded by great people & a fantastic atmosphere ❤️

Transforming Spaces, Supporting Communities ✨💚

As part of a refurbishment at a local Family Hub, we created a dedicated medical room, providing a practical, private & welcoming space for the community 🏥

The wider works included roof repairs, new flooring & painting throughout, new blinds, worktop benching & a small kitchen with hot water facilities 🛠️

Another project where thoughtful improvements have helped make a building work better for the people who use it 👏

A little refurbishment with a big purpose 🏫✨

We’ve transformed an existing office at a primary school in Liverpool into a welcoming family meeting room & kitchen, creating a more practical, comfortable space for families, staff & pupils to use 🤝

Sometimes, it’s the smaller changes that make the biggest difference 💚
