Smart Alarm & CCTV Installation – Winstanley

Last week we were in Winstanley installing a new smart wireless alarm system, giving the customer a modern, reliable security solution with the convenience of control from their mobile.

To complement the alarm, we also installed a 5MP 3K Hikvision HiLook CCTV system featuring 4 ColourVu cameras

The cameras provide excellent colour images, including in low-light conditions, and the whole CCTV system is connected to a mobile app, allowing the customer to view their cameras remotely whenever they need to.

Alarm System Upgrade – Leigh

Yesterday we were in Leigh upgrading an older Scantronic alarm control panel to a modern Texecom system.

The old panel had certainly done its job over the years, but it was time for an upgrade. The new Texecom control panel provides a more reliable, modern solution while allowing us to make use of the existing alarm installation where possible.

Another successful upgrade and another customer with a smarter, more dependable alarm system.

Visonic Wireless Alarm Service Completed Today in Leigh

Many Visonic wireless alarm systems will start beeping or display a “Low Battery” or “Trouble” warning when one of the wireless devices or the control panel backup battery needs attention.

During today’s service I:
✔️ Tested all wireless PIRs, door contacts and detectors
✔️ Replaced any low batteries where required
✔️ Checked the control panel backup battery
✔️ Tested the internal and external sounders
✔️ Confirmed all devices were communicating correctly
✔️ Carried out a full system health check

If your Visonic alarm is beeping every few minutes or showing a Trouble message, don’t ignore it. In many cases it’s simply a battery that needs replacing, but it’s important to identify the correct device and test the system afterwards to make sure your home remains protected.

Wireless alarm batteries typically last several years, but their lifespan depends on usage and environmental conditions. An annual service helps identify low batteries before they cause unexpected faults.
