Curtain eye removed and lock mechanism back to fully operational.

I visited a customer to fix their faulty multipoint lock gearbox a week or so ago.
While I was there I mentioned that the 3 star high security cylinder that his daughter had sourced online, was in fact useless as the high security side marked "EXT" was on the inside of the door, leaving the much less secure side, outside!
As well as fixing his gearbox, I also supplied and fitted a new 3 star British Standard lock, the correct way around.

Rectifying lock defects on new build properties...
This multipoint lock wouldn't lock due to this screw jamming it up.
The screw is the same type as used to hold the gearbox to the strip, and will have been floating about inside the gearbox since it was manufactured!
Screw removed and the lock is back to how it should have left the factory.
