I’m so excited to announce our live owl drawing workshop at Studio Beecher! Tickets are now available!

We’re teaming up with Dyfed Falconry for this special afternoon. They’ll be bringing along their beautiful owl, Orion, for us to draw!

We’ll explore different ways to capture him on paper, including expressive charcoal drawing and drawing in ink using feathers. There’ll be time to experiment, observe Orion up close and take photos with him too, with guidance throughout.

No previous drawing experience is needed, and all materials are included.

Saturday 14th November 2026
2pm to 4:30pm
ÂŁ40 per person
Just six spaces available
Ages 18+
Studio Beecher, 12 Sycamore Street, Newcastle Emlyn, SA38 9AP

You can book online using the link I’ll post below in the comments, or pop into the shop to reserve your place.

I can’t wait for you all to meet Orion! 🦉✏️

It’s coming into our winter work season, in a months time we will be very busy helping local farmers and giving our summer birds a well deserved break, but for now we are still enjoying walks and flights out with as many of our birds as we possibly can!

There is a new boy in town! Echo is one of this years hatchlings who is training up to be a part of our working team, helping farmers and business owners keep pest birds away. He will be joined by some more new faces soon.
