You’ve probably heard plenty about heat pumps. But knowing whether they’re right for a particular property is another matter.

That’s where good advice helps. Our team at our Ambleside Renewables centre can help installers and homeowners understand the products involved, the wider system and the options available for different projects.

28/09/2026

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Daikin Level 1 Heat Pump training day at the EPS Sustainable Home Centre in Ambleside. It was great to welcome you along for a day of learning, developing heat pump knowledge and getting to know Daikin's technology in more detail.

We’re committed to supporting installers as the demand for renewable heating continues to grow, with training opportunities alongside expert advice and quality products.

Missed out this time? Keep an eye on our psge, we’ll be announcing more training opportunities soon!

Still finding yourself reaching for traditional fittings every time?

Press fittings are becoming an increasingly popular choice for installers looking for a quick and efficient way to get the job done.

If you’re thinking about trying them or want to know what options are available, pop into your local EPS. Our team can talk you through the range and help you find the right products for your next job.

Starting out in the trade? There’s a lot to learn, and having the right people around you can make a big difference.

Our teams have years of experience across plumbing, heating, bathrooms and renewables, and we’re always happy to share what we know.

Whether you need some advice on a product, want to learn more about newer systems or simply need to find the right part for the job, come and have a chat with your local EPS team.

One job rarely means one product.

From pipe and fittings through to heating, bathrooms and renewables, there’s a lot that goes into getting a project over the line.

Our teams can help you look at the bigger picture and find the products you need across the job, saving you time sourcing everything from different places.

Join us at our Barrow branch next month for a morning of products, expert advice and breakfast. We’ll be joined by Tom Powell from Grundfos, showcasing their energy-efficient circulator pumps, including the ALPHA and UPS ranges. It’s a great opportunity to get hands-on with the products, ask Tom your technical questions and discover the latest solutions from Grundfos.

A huge thank you from everyone at EPS! 💚

We had a brilliant time supporting Macmillan Cancer Support across our branches, from coffee and plenty of cake to the BBQ and raffle at Carlisle.

Thank you to our customers, colleagues, suppliers and everyone who donated or joined us on the day. Your support made it a great event. And a special thank you to Daikin, Radical and Tuplings for joining us and supporting the Carlisle BBQ fundraiser. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did.

17/09/2026

Today’s the day! ☕🍰💚 Our Macmillan Coffee Mornings are underway across EPS, and there are plenty of cakes waiting to be enjoyed! If you’re passing your local participating branch today, call in for a cuppa and a slice of something good while helping us raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

And if you’re in Carlisle, swap the cake for something hot off the BBQ! 🌭Thank you to everyone who has already donated; let’s see how much we can raise! 💚
