We attended a call from a new customer experiencing tripping issues.

She had paid someone else £400 & was told that her kettle was tripping the circuit.
Replacing the kettle as she was advised didn’t resolve the problem so she called us.

After testing thoroughly we found damp coming through the back of the wall into the socket, causing the circuit to trip.

To repair the fault we removed the socket, created new connections that could be kept apart until the damp problem cleared up and fitted a new blanking plate.
