A closer look at one of our latest bespoke garden rooms where bold Shou Sugi Ban cladding meets warm, natural interiors and carefully considered architectural detailing.

From the framed external reveal and hidden cladded door to the sedum roof, engineered oak flooring and soft limewash finish, every material has been chosen to create a space that feels refined, calm and completely individual.

We recently had the pleasure of completing this bespoke project for our client, Mark.

The brief was simple: create a modern, low-maintenance space that could work seamlessly as both a home office and a separate entertainment area.

Mark wanted somewhere that felt considered, premium and completely integrated into the garden, a space he could be proud of using every day.

Lucy for Acro Builds 🏡

A completely bespoke 6m × 6m entertaining space, designed around hosting, relaxing and enjoying the garden all year round.

At the heart of the room is a custom birch ply kitchen, designed and built by Acro Builds, paired with a limewash and birch ply interior, cork tiled flooring and integrated A/C.

A separate toilet and storage area is cleverly concealed behind pocket doors, while three letterbox windows, huge 2m double doors and floor-to-ceiling glazing flood the space with natural light.

Finished externally in charred timber cladding, creating a bold architectural contrast against the warmth of the interior.

A true extension of the home, designed and built entirely around our client.
