That’s a wrap on the exterior season for the year! 🛑🌧️
Looking back, if there's one thing exterior painting teaches you, it's patience. Battling the unpredictable weather this season has been a relentless game of stop-start.
Between dodging showers, watching the radar like a hawk, and having to stall when the elements refuse to play ball, it’s tested every bit of stamina. Having to cancel or push back an exterior project is deeply frustrating—not just for clients waiting to see their property finished, but equally for us on the tools. At Rollwithit, customer-centered care is at the heart of everything we do, and every single client matters to us, whether we’re working on an exterior refresh or an interior overhaul.
Reaching a collective decision to totally cancel an exterior project due to the ever-changing forecast is never an easy conversation to have. However, having clients who are understanding and amicable makes navigating those tough calls so much smoother. When outdoor jobs drag out, it completely disrupts the diary, triggering a domino effect that forces us to reschedule clients who have their interior work lined up and waiting.
As much as it hurts to put tools down and shift schedules around, rushing coats over damp masonry or cold timber is never an option. Doing the job right always comes first.
Massive thanks to all my clients this year for your incredible patience and support when the Great British weather threw a spanner in the works.
Time to shift indoors now for the winter months and keep on rolling ⚽⚽⚽
