We’re in Reigate to give this sandstone patio and its steps some much-needed attention.

The first stage is assessing the existing joints, identifying any loose or damaged slabs, and checking which areas need repairing or replacing.

We then begin carefully removing the old, deteriorated jointing material and preparing the affected areas. Any damaged slabs are assessed for replacement, helping create a sound base for the restoration work ahead.

Getting the preparation right is key to achieving a neat, durable finish.

PART 4 | THE NEW ROOF TAKES SHAPE 🏠🔨

Tile by tile, the new roof is coming together.

With the new membrane and roof preparation completed, we continued laying the new tiles across the roof, creating a clean and durable finish.

At the same time, we prepared for the finishing stages — including the dry ridge line system, verge, soffits, fascias and new gutters.

There's still work to do, but the difference is already clear.

PART 3 | BUILDING THE NEW ROOF 🏠🔵

With the old roof stripped back, it was time to start preparing for the new roof.

A new breathable roofing membrane was installed to provide an additional protective layer beneath the tiles, helping protect the roof structure from wind-driven rain while allowing moisture vapour to escape.

With the roof prepared and protected, we could then begin laying the new tiles and bringing the new roof to life.

The transformation is starting to take shape…

PART 2 | STRIPPED BACK 🔨🏠

With the old tiles coming off, we continued stripping the roof back to give us a clear view of the existing structure.

Removing the old materials properly is an important part of preparing for a quality new roof. Once stripped back, we can start preparing the roof for its new protective layers and fresh tiles.

One roof stripped back — now the rebuild begins.

Next stage: preparing the roof and installing the new breathable membrane.
