🏅 TOUGH MUDDER 2026 – DONE! 🏅

Today, myself and my two kids, Eli and Aimee, completed the 15K Tough Mudder together! 💪🔥

What an experience – plenty of mud, obstacles, laughs, teamwork, and determination from start to finish. Super proud of both of them for smashing it and pushing through every challenge.

This is what it’s all about: making memories, taking on challenges, and proving that together you can achieve anything.

🚧 PROJECT PROGRESS UPDATE 🚧

Currie Children’s Nursery Garden Redevelopment

We’re delighted to share the latest progress on the transformation of the outdoor learning and play space at Currie Children’s Nursery.

✅ Works Completed So Far

• Ground reduced and levelled throughout the new play area
• New drainage system installed to improve water management and surface performance
• Timber sleeper edging installed to define the new Astro Turf area
• Sub-base installed, levelled and compacted to specification
• Geotextile membrane installed to improve stability and reduce contamination
• Shock-proof safety underlay installed in preparation for Astro Turf installation next week

🛡️ Child Safety First

The shock-proof underlay has been installed beneath the future Astro Turf surface to provide additional impact absorption and cushioning.

This safety system helps create a softer landing surface, reducing the risk of injury from slips, trips and falls while children play, learn and explore.

🌱 Next Phase

Astro Turf installation commencing next week

The new play area is beginning to take shape and will soon provide a safe, durable and engaging outdoor environment for the children to enjoy for years to come.

We’re delighted to see the progress of the garden transformation at Currie Nursery and incredibly grateful for the kind mention from the team.

At WDM Landscaping & Groundworks Ltd, we’re proud to be helping create a fantastic new outdoor learning environment for the children. From site clearance and groundwork to shaping the new play spaces, it’s been great to see the excitement from both the staff and children as the project develops.

A special thanks to Currie Nursery for their commitment to recycling and reusing materials wherever possible. If anyone has any spare timber, fence slats, posts, or exterior garden paint that could help support this community project, please consider donating.
