⚠️ DRY ROT DISCOVERED ⚠️

We were contacted by a worried customer as they noticed red dust around the top of the skirting board and a rotten mushroom smell. After further investigation it was discovered under the floorboards, dry rot was spreading.

If left untreated, it can spread and cause extensive structural damage.

Common signs of dry rot include:
✔ Cracked or shrinking timber
✔ Cuboidal cracking
✔ Soft or brittle wood
✔ Mushroom-like fruiting bodies
✔ White or grey fungal growth
✔ Musty odour
✔️ Red dust
