Customer complained about losing pressure daily from their heating system. Traced the fault to a split coil in the hot water cylinder in the loft. Replaced cylinder and pressure drop problem is resolved.

These are difficult times for us all. First priority is to keep safe and well. That being said, hot water and heating are essential to maintain hygiene and comfort, particularly for the vulnerable.

We will continue to provide emergency services over this time but on a case by case basis. If your boiler is broken, mains water leak, water through the ceiling, blocked or faulty toilets etc. then please call. We will observe social distancing rules and make arrangements with you when you call.

Recent installation. Old boiler was beyond economical repair and they were very happy with their old Baxi and wanted a new one. Fitted the Baxi 600 with rear flue so they wouldn't lose shelving or storage in cupboard. Another happy customer.

We were called out to an elderly customer by her daughter as the boiler wasn't working and she had been advised by two other companies that it was beyond economical repair and asked us for a quotation to replace. However, after asking a few basic questions about the problem and spending 10 minutes investigating we discovered the cause of the problem was a blocked Venturi (required for correct fan function). We cleared blockage and tested the boiler successfully. Customer only had to pay for the hours labour. Considerably cheaper than the new boiler quotes she received. Happy Customers, Happy Cafco.

The importance of a Gas Safety Check. We recently visited this property to complete a Landlord Gas Safety check and discovered that the combustion chamber seal was brittle, hard and cracked, this would not safely make an airtight seal and there is a risk of products of combustion entering the room (CO). We isolated the boiler from the gas supply and returned the next working day with a manufacturer approved seal and replaced. All safe and sound. Happy Customers, Happy Cafco.

A recent system conversion in Welwyn Garden city. We converted from an old heat only boiler with hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard to a high performance Worcester 25i Combi boiler. We were able to locate the boiler in the same position as the original boiler. We removed the cylinder and tanks from the loft. Customer had a shower pump supplying the bathroom with hot water but caused problems over the years, we were able to remove this and connect the hot supply to the combi boiler giving mains pressure hot water. Happy Customers, Happy Cafco.

Another successful boiler replacement in Stevenage. This time it's a Combi swap. An old Vokera replaced with a Worcester Greenstar 30i Combi. We installed a magnetic cleaner too and were able to neatly fit it all in the original cupboard. Other than the increased hot water performance and efficient and improved heating it was as if we were never there lol. Happy customers, Happy Cafco.

Another boiler update in Welwyn Garden City. Old boiler flue had corroded and had become e dangerous. We made old boiler safe and returned a few days later to install a new Worcester Greenstar 15Ri boiler with new magnetic cleaner. Another satisfied customer.
