Tincknell Fuels Ltd We are a family-run business that has been proudly supplying Kerosene, Red Diesel, and White Diesel to farms and homes across the Southwest since 1954.

Founded in 1925 by Robert Tincknell in Wells, Somerset, our family-run business has deep roots in supporting the local farming community. Originally focused on blacksmithing and agricultural machinery, we expanded in 1954 to include fuel distribution with the formation of Tincknell Fuels, serving Somerset and beyond. Over the decades, our commitment to expert knowledge, heritage, and friendly customer service has remained strong. In 2024, we embraced the future by diversifying our offerings with Renewable Fuel (HVO), continuing to support our community with reliable, sustainable energy solutions across the Southwest.

“Working at Tincknells for the past two and a half years has helped me grow, both as a marketer and as a person. The team has supported me in developing my skills, and I’d like to say a huge thank you to the Tincknell family for giving me this opportunity.” – Jo 🥳

We definitely think it was noticeably colder this morning! 🥶

We are well into autumn, and the temperature is starting to drop. Don't forget to check your oil tank levels to make sure you're ready for winter and not left in the cold.

This photo shows one of our early tankers delivering fuel to the old Frome Cattle Market. 72 years later, we are still delivering across the South West, even if the lorries do look a little different 😉

A new way of delivering fuel? 🐴

Our driver Tom recently upgraded from our usual 4-wheeled trucks to a 4-legged friend instead (don't worry, he did give them back in the end, we think) 🤣
