From the very beginning, there’s been one name behind our scaffold.

For more than 40 years, George Roberts Ltd has supplied our materials. Our founders, Adrian and George, built their businesses side by side and nurtured this relationship from day one.

They take safety as seriously as we do. They’re full NASC members, and this year they were named Service of the Year at the Scaffolding Excellence Awards.

World Mental Health Day 🧠

Behind every hard hat is a human being & behind every job, deadline & demanding shift is a person whose mental health matters!💙

In a recent podcast recorded with , Amie spoke openly about the serious issue of mental health in the construction industry, the devastating impact of su***de & why looking after our people must always come first 👷

Construction workers have been reported to face a su***de risk 3.7 times the national average. We believe that looking after our staff means more than keeping them safe on site. It means creating a culture where people feel supported, where conversations about mental health are encouraged & where asking for help is seen as a sign of strength — never weakness.

44 years. 93.82% repeat business. Many relationships that have stood the test of time.

For us, client relationships aren’t built in a boardroom. They’re built job by job, project by project, by doing what we say we’ll do, being there when we’re needed & giving clients a reason to come back.

Our very first project in 1982 was for what is now BAM UK & Ireland 🚧 Nearly 45 years later, that relationship is still going.

The projects have changed. The industry has changed. The importance of a good relationship hasn’t.

A great review from our client following our scaffolding work on the Hams Hall Bridge demolition 🚧

This was no ordinary job, we worked closely with AR to deliver a world first floating scaffold solution to assist with the demolition of the bridge over water.

The project was also featured in ScaffMag highlighting the innovation & engineering that went into making it happen.

We're proud to be featured in Scaffmag following our involvement in ARC project's incredible 24-hour warehouse marathon.

The project challenged our team to think beyond traditional scaffolding, delivering a bespoke 30m projection screen structure that became the centrepiece of the event. It was a fantastic opportunity to support three young entrepreneurs with a vision & showcase how scaffolding can support creative, large scale productions as well as construction projects

A huge well done to our Director, Ben, & our team for delivering this unique project.

Midland Scaffolding Services has helped deliver an unusual event project after building a 270 sq m scaffold projection screen for Arc Project’s 24-hour treadmill race in north London.

MSS x ARC Project // AP4 🦺

Last week, our contracts director, Ben, designed what we believe to be the largest projection screen ever built using scaffolding & monarflex — 30 metres wide, 9 metres tall, erected in a single day inside a former WWII tank factory in North London.

The screen was the centrepiece of AP4: The Treadmill Factory — a 24’hour ultra marathon relay on manual treadmills, produced by in partnership with

Once the build was done, Ben swapped his hard hat for running shoes & took his place on one of those fifty treadmills. His team ran through the night for 24 hours completing 229km. All in front of the screen he’d designed.

Not all projects are about buildings. Some are about turning 3 young entrepreneurs’ vision into something real for Hamish, James & Sonni & being proud to have played a part in it 🙌
