Turneys is a successful and respected family run business which has grown steadily since it was formed over 30 yrs ago. Our reputation has been built on the professional and high quality services we provide to our customers, who include local authorities, housing associations, schools, colleges and major construction companies to name but a few. Turney Landscapes headed up by Steven Turney. This part of the company deals with our hard and soft landscaping projects. These can be large or small scale projects from roof gardens and large industrial sites to small gardens. Steve deals with many large companies in the construction business and recently completed works at Wembley Stadium, DP World in Dartford and are starting a new phase at Rathbone Market very shortly

TL Tree care and Ground Care which is headed up by David Turney. David’s part of the business mainly deals with Tree surgery and grounds maintenance contracts for local authority and private sector clients in and around Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Peterborough. He carries out out projects of all sizes and no job is too small. Turney Highways is headed up by Adrian Turney and Robert Cox. They carry out a wide range of Highways operations from Tree Surgery, grass cutting, hedge cutting, pot hole repairs, fencing and small traffic management schemes. They also carry out works for construction companies, land management companies and private households.

Turney Landscapes is delighted to announce that, following the recent round of tendering, we have successfully retained the grounds maintenance contract for Rushden Town Council and will continue to maintain Higham Ferrers and Irthlingborough Town Council's parks, open spaces etc. under a Grounds Maintenance Services Collaboration Agreement with Rushden Town Council

This contract award will see our teams continue looking after the parks, open spaces, sports facilities, cemeteries and landscaped areas across all three towns for the next seven years (5+2), covering everything from routine grass cutting and horticultural maintenance through to reactive works and seasonal programmes.

David Turney, Director of Grounds Maintenance, commented: 'As a family-owned business since 1982, we're proud to bring four decades of grounds maintenance experience to these communities, and we're looking forward to continuing to work closely with the Council to keep these spaces safe, welcoming and well cared for. We would like to thank Rushden Town Council, for their trust in us, and our team for the hard work that went into securing and delivering this contract."

Say hello to our latest addition — the John Deere Z997R , fresh off the trailer and ready to get to work. Built for speed, precision and a flawless finish on large-scale grounds maintenance sites.

This zero-turn mower is joining the fleet to help us keep delivering the standard our clients expect, efficiently and to schedule.

A big thank you to the team at Ben Burgess for the demonstration and for getting us set up with this machine 🙌

From high-maintenance planting beds to a clean, low-maintenance finish. 🌿

A recent improvement completed at Elma Electronic, Bedford, where Turney Landscapes already provides ongoing grounds maintenance.

After plants struggled to establish in several areas, our team prepared and levelled the ground, installed a weed-suppressing membrane and finished the areas with blue slate — creating a smarter, tidier and more practical long-term solution.

Great work by Carl and Fred on the transformation. 👏

Always looking at ways to improve.

Recently, our team had the opportunity to see the Kubota F251 and Trimax Pegasus S5-493 in action across our Parks & Open Spaces operations in Rushden.

Exploring new equipment and technologies helps us better understand what works best across the diverse environments we maintain, while supporting continuous improvements in productivity, efficiency and service delivery.

Maintaining clean, safe and welcoming green spaces for local communities.

Some of the public open spaces our teams currently maintain on behalf of Rushden Town Council. From routine grass cutting and landscape maintenance to the ongoing care of public realm environments, we take pride in delivering consistently high standards across every site.

Well-presented green spaces play an important role in supporting local communities, biodiversity and everyday wellbeing, and it’s great to see these areas looking their best heading into the summer season.
