Another great day on site at Eye.

It’s not every day the team gets to work with views like this! 🌄

Progress is continuing nicely on this project, with the team working hard to deliver a high-quality roofing installation across the development.
One side of the roof features bespoke VELUX roof windows, carefully installed to complement the building and maximise natural light, while the opposite elevation incorporates solar panels, creating a great balance between traditional craftsmanship and modern energy efficiency.
A challenging roof with plenty of detail, but the team are making great progress and the results are really starting to come together.

Three days in, four roofs done. 💪
It's only Wednesday, and the Iceni Roofing team has already completed four small private and domestic jobs this week — three EPDM rubber flat roofs and one fibreglass.

People sometimes assume roofing firms only care about the big contracts. We don't see it that way. The garden outbuilding, the rear extension, the little flat roof tucked away out of sight — they all matter just as much, because behind every one of them is a homeowner trusting us to get it right.
And that trust is everything.
In this trade, your reputation isn't built on the jobs nobody sees — it's built on how you treat people. Turning up when you say you will. Leaving a site clean and tidy. Doing the work properly the first time, whether anyone's watching or not. That's what gets talked about over garden fences and in village shops.
We're proud to be part of the communities we work in. A huge amount of our work comes from word of mouth — one happy customer telling a neighbour, a friend, a family member. You can't buy that. You can only earn it, one job at a time.

Weather Can Stop a Roof but Preparation Prevents Problems 🌧️ ☀️

Only in Britain can you need waterproofs and sun cream in the same week.
After what felt like weeks of rain and cool temperatures, we're now in the middle of a heatwave. And if you work in roofing, you'll know the challenges don't stop - they just change!

Whether it's moisture, UV, soaring temperatures, or whatever's coming next week (your guess is as good as ours), poor preparation on-site can lead to damaged materials, delays and costly mistakes.

CPS-registered contractors have the knowledge and skills to handle whatever the British weather throws at them:

✔️ Materials stored correctly for any condition

✔️ Membranes protected from moisture and UV

✔️ Adhesives and coatings chosen and applied for the right temperatures

✔️ Daily weather planning and contingency measures in place

Great progress being made by the team on this industrial roofing project in Attleborough.

"Phase one" The first 2 metal roof sections are now complete, with the new TATA Trisomet 333 120mm Composite Panels installed and looking sharp. We are now awaiting installation of the new Brett Martin GRP rooflights before moving onto the next phase of works.

"Phase two & three" Another 10 roof sections still to go — a fantastic project to be involved in and a great transformation already visible from above.
Huge credit to the team for their hard work and continued high standards on site 👏

Another strong step forward for the team at Iceni Roofing Ltd as we continue progress on a large-scale re-roofing programme for one of our local housing associations.

Our operatives are currently undertaking works to 12 properties as part of an 83-home roofing scheme, delivering full re-roofing solutions with a focus on quality workmanship, programme efficiency, and minimal disruption to residents throughout the project.

Projects of this scale require careful coordination, health & safety management, and consistent communication between site teams, residents, and client representatives — all areas our team takes great pride in delivering professionally.

It’s rewarding to be involved in projects that help improve and protect local housing stock for the long term while maintaining high installation standards across every property.

A great effort from everyone involved on site so far, and we look forward to continuing the successful delivery of the programme.
