Prime Disaster Response Ltd Prime Disaster Response is a High & Premium Net Worth focussed restoration business. A family run c Never sacrificing quality.

Founded By Laurence and Ciaran O’Grady, Prime began trading as part of Tempest Restoration as a franchise, a company with over 18 years of Restoration experience. Tempest Restoration provided an invaluable background and an approach to business that over the years the franchise & franchisee worked together forming an excellent working partnership. Prime Disaster Response is a new High Net Worth focussed restoration business whose focus is much the same as it was as Tempest but better serves its core customer within HNWI. As a boutique business we do provide boutique solutions, we will partner with Tempest Restoration as we have done for many years providing a greater area coverage and in times of surge, an ability to manage large scale volume in a short space of time. You can contact any member of the team at any time of day or night and be assured of a professional, thorough and considerate service. We are incredibly proud of our growing team and the excellent service they are trained to provide. Our success is due to their hard work, skill and expertise.

Complex losses often require more than one area of expertise, particularly when valuable artwork and specialist contents are involved.

At the recent CILA Conference, our very own Laurence caught up with Joanne from to discuss the importance of collaboration when managing complex claims.

From property damage to the careful restoration of fine art and valuable contents, working together helps ensure every aspect of a claim receives the specialist attention it needs.

The work doesn’t stop once the equipment is set up.

Effective drying requires ongoing monitoring, not just leaving equipment to run.

Through remote monitoring, our technicians can track temperature, relative humidity and drying conditions, helping them assess progress and make informed adjustments where needed.

This helps us manage energy consumption, avoid unnecessary equipment running time and keep the drying process as efficient as possible.

We’re always looking for ways to learn, improve and better understand the people we work alongside.

Our recent CILA conference survey gave us some great insight into what claims professionals value when working with restoration contractors, along with a few areas where the industry can do better.

A big thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts. Your responses also helped us raise £250 for West Norfolk RDA, The Magpie Centre West Norfolk RDA with a Fortnum & Mason hamper heading to one lucky winner.

Plenty of useful conversations, some great feedback and a little something given back along the way.

When the unexpected happens, experience makes all the difference.

Property damage can quickly become more complex than it first appears. The decisions made early on can shape everything that follows.

Understanding the building, identifying what can be preserved and choosing the right approach can help avoid unnecessary intervention, reduce disruption and keep the claim moving.

That’s where experience makes the difference.

“It’s only a little bit of water.”

Every restoration professional’s favourite sentence on a Friday… 😅

The reality is, what looks minor on the surface can tell a very different story underneath.

Early reporting and the right response can make a real difference in limiting damage, reducing disruption and keeping a claim moving in the right direction.

Sometimes, the smallest leaks create the biggest surprises. 👀

Good restoration is built on more than technical expertise. It’s about care, consistency and taking responsibility for the details throughout a claim.

From the property itself to the contents within it, every part of the restoration process deserves the same level of attention and professionalism.

Great to have the team with us at Prime last week.

They spent time with our technicians and claims handling team, sharing knowledge and giving us the chance to learn from each other.

In restoration, strong outcomes come from specialists working well together. Sessions like this help strengthen those relationships and make sure we’re always learning.

Thanks to the Abbey Group team for coming down!

Restoration doesn’t stop with the property.

The items we remove from a home can carry real personal value, which is why contents restoration requires the same care and attention to detail as the building itself.

From careful cleaning and restoration through to secure storage and return, our team takes the time to preserve what can be saved and return it in the best possible condition.

Because sometimes, what something means is worth far more than what it costs.

We often meet people at a difficult moment. A leak, flood or unexpected loss can suddenly bring disruption and uncertainty into someone’s home.

Our role goes beyond dealing with the damage. It’s about bringing reassurance, clear communication and genuine care to what can be a stressful and unfamiliar situation.

There’s something rewarding about seeing that change. Arriving when things feel uncertain and leaving with the situation under control, the way forward clearer and the people involved feeling more at ease.

That’s the difference we want to make on every job.
