Another health and safety audit on site last week at our Dental project in Southampton……
Ongoing site inspections are a key part of what we do beyond the drawings, walking the job, checking the compound arrangements, signage, welfare, the signing-in register, and how the works are actually being carried out on the ground. A few minor hazards picked up this time, but nothing of any significance; the contractor is running a tidy, well-organised site and doing a fab job.
Great progress since our last visit:
-Stud partitions up and plasterboard/skim complete to the treatment rooms
-Mechanical ventilation and ductwork installed through the first floor
-Air conditioning condensers mounted to the rear elevation
-Accessible WC fully tiled out and fitted with grab rails and safety flooring
-Safety flooring down to the first-floor treatment rooms
-External works underway to the frontage
And always good to catch up with the client on site and grab a photo together 📸
