Even though we are in the midst of ' silly season ', there is always time to expand the business more 😃

💥 RELOCATION IN THE RENOVATION 💥

Just some of the pictures of the job we were contacted to do for a wonderful couple in Washington. It was to remove an old boiler from an upstairs bedroom and relocate a new boiler in the extension 🏠🔥

** We are aware of the wiring being loose, it is already booked in to have this connected properly to a fuse spur once the couple have their new kitchen fitted **

• We arrived to remove the old worcester boiler and remove or cap off all unused pipework, before we could head downstairs and install a new Alpha E-tec plus 28nx with a massive 11 years parts and labour warranty! ✅️

• New gas pipework run was connected from the meter to assure that the gas rate and pressures were correct in the new location and was tee'd off for the installation of the hob before a tightness test was conducted in accordance with IGEM UP/1B ✅️

• As there was no external drain to run the condensate pipe into, we had to dig and install a soakaway outside along with limestone chippings in accordance with building regulations ✅️

• New hot and cold water pipework was installed and connected onto the existing kitchen pipes along with new flow and return connected on the nearest heating pipes ✅️

• An Alpha in-line cyclone magnetic filter was installed to add another years warranty for the customer ✅️

• A new cp4 wireless thermostat was installed for the customer to control the heating from wherever they like 🔥✅️

• We removed 8 radiators from this property and upgraded them to more modern dpx radiators, one vertical radiator in the kitchen and a designer radiator in the hallway ✅️

• Next, we then ran cleaner around the system and then performed a mains flush to clear any remaining debris before adding inhibitor to the system ✅️

• The appliance was then commissioned and signed off in accordance with manufacturers instructions ✅️

A very happy couple on departure and so grateful it is done for the winter coming ❄️

✅️ GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY ✅️

Today, for one of our jobs, we thought we would do our part to help those less fortunate than ourselves or who have fallen on hard times

We recieved a call from a local food bank who were after a washing machine installed so they could offer other services to whoever I assume is in need of it

There was currently no space, pipework or drainage in place to even make this possible but we arrived and removed a cupboard , installed a cold water pipe and installed new waste pipes to make sure this was completed ☺️

A new trap under the sink was installed aswell as it didnt have enough of a natural fall on it aswell as a shelf on the side of the washing machine so they can store their laundry products on it 🔨

This was all done for the cheapest available price since it was is a charitable organisation. It made it even more worth while knowing it was going to benefit many 🤍

🔥 ANOTHER WEEK COMPLETED 🔥After another full on week and for the first time since June, I am finally taking the weekend ...

🔥 ANOTHER WEEK COMPLETED 🔥

After another full on week and for the first time since June, I am finally taking the weekend off so here's just a few pictures of some jobs completed in the last couple of days 🙂

Firstly, I was contacted by the best landlord I've come across who wants nothing but the best for his tenants -

• I conducted a few CP12 Gas safety checks and unfortunately, one of the gas hobs was failing to light so we turned up the following day to replace it for the tenant coming home from hospital 🏨🔥

Next, we had a job in Washington for a lovely lady who wanted to upgrade her heating system ready for the winter ❄️

• We arrived to install a new Alulite vertical radiator in place of an old style which had seen better days, we replaced a radiator installed with plastic pipe running along the floor upstairs with a new type 21 radiator with pipework fitted correctly under the floor this time ✅️

• Lastly, we removed an old single panel radiator and relocated it to under the window but replaced it with a type 21 to generate more heat for when her grandson comes to stay over 🥰

🔥 SATURDAY SMARTEN UP 🔥

One of todays jobs was for a lovely young lady in Whickham, I was contacted to originally change a stopcock and take a look if the pipework in a newly bought property could be neatened up and to relocate and reinstall a new toilet✅️

We arrived this morning to remove the shambles which was already there, we got to work installing new 40mm waste for the kitchen sink, a 32mm waste for the bathroom basin, all new 15mm copper pipe for all outlets and clipping it all to the wall ✅️

Making sure to install new valves for new dishwasher and washing machine

On inspection of the property, and knowing the customer was wanting to make adjustments to walls, we tested and removed old gas pipes aswell as blanking some other gas pipes that were still in use 🔥

A very happy customer on departure and it was a pleasure to see someone so pleased 😃

Yesterdays job in Washington was for a lovely family and I was contacted to remove a baxi combi boiler that had given up and was beyond economical repair and replace with a brand new Alpha E-Tec 28NX

Not boiler related but wanted to leave my own recommendation to another small independent business, I've had a few issues with my van as some of my customers know

After being messed around by mechanics and garages that I wont name, I then contacted Garage & Plant Services

Dave was able to diagnose the issue within 10 minutes and get it all up and running in no time, anyone after any diagnostics or repairs should contact them.
