🚜 Service Engineer

Fuelwood (Warwick) Ltd has been at the forefront of forestry and timber conversion machinery since 1996. From our unique 30-acre woodland site in Warwick, we design and manufacture our own innovative firewood production machinery, and are the sole UK importers of world-leading brands.

🌲 With demand for our products growing rapidly, we are expanding our service team and looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join our skilled workforce.

🔧 The Role:
As part of our hands-on team, you’ll be working on some of the best forestry and agricultural machinery in the UK. Your responsibilities will include:
-Providing off-site customer support for machinery repair & fault diagnosis.
-Carrying out routine service work at customer sites and at Fuelwood HQ.
-Performing PDI inspections before delivery/collection.
-Delivering, setting up, demonstrating, and handing over new machines.
-Refurbishing selected second-hand machinery.
-Servicing & repairing company plant and equipment.

✅ What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have experience in Agricultural, Forestry, HGV, Plant, or similar machinery maintenance and be ready to take initiative.
Key skills include:
-Problem-solving mindset.
-Confident with general fabrication.
-Understanding of hydraulic circuits and high/low voltage electrics.
-Willingness to learn, operate, and demonstrate our machinery.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Flexibility to attend demonstrations and shows across the UK.
Requirements:
-Full UK driving licence (Trailer, HGV & forklift licences an advantage).
-Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
