📢 We are excited to announce that we have been appointed to bring to life the high end dining experience, LILY Restaurant by Aiden Byrne, Knutsford.

Set in a stunning Grade II listed Tudor building, LI~LY will be an intimate and elegant destination, with a design inspired by Aiden and Sarah’s vision for memorable, community-centred dining.

Our design will preserve the building’s unique heritage, blending soft ivory, cream, and gold tones to create a refined yet inviting space. Inspired by ’s own River Lily, the interiors will capture a sense of flow and intimacy to make every meal a special occasion.

LI~LY is due to open in November - watch this space!

🎉 Thrilled to share that DV8 Designs has been shortlisted in the Northern Design Awards for our work on the Aspire Lounge at Newcastle Airport! 🎉

This social project holds a special place in our hearts, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the design magic from our talented lead designer, Jess, whose vision brought this space to life. ✨

We’re thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Molly! 🎉

Molly graduated from the Manchester School of Art with a degree in Interior Design in 2019. She spent her first five years in the high-end residential sector, working on stunning homes across the Yorkshire Dales. Now, she’s ready to take on new challenges in the commercial sector, bringing her passion for creating beautiful spaces while prioritising sustainability.

Fun Facts about Molly:

🐾She loves taking long walks on weekends with her energetic Golden Retriever, Willow.

📺You can often find her binge-watching The Real Housewives—it’s her guilty pleasure!

🌸Molly even completed a floristry diploma a couple of years ago, with dreams of opening her own shop someday!

We’re excited to have Molly on board and can’t wait to see the amazing designs she’ll bring to life at DV8!

We’re proud to unveil the stunning transformation of Hollins Chambers, an iconic Manchester landmark dating back to 1925. With its rich history as our inspiration, we’ve reimagined this beloved building into a premium commercial office space that blends heritage with modern functionality. 🌿✨

Take a look at the beautiful new interiors, featuring a rich colour palette of greens, blues, and golds, inspired by the glamour of the roaring twenties. From the striking reception area to five fully refurbished office floors, Hollins Chambers is ready to welcome its new tenants.

Transforming a grade 2 listed building in the Center of Knutsford into a beautiful fine dining experience! This is something you don’t want to miss!

Aiden’s words ~ “My wife, myself and a small team have a dream to open a small 30 - 35 cover intimate restaurant near our home town in Cheshire. We have found a suitable site that is Grade 2 listed building in Knutsford, Cheshire. We have a small pot of money but we need your help to raise the funds to make our dream come true and help bring this beautiful building back to life.”

Our MD Lee Birchall sharing his experience and thoughts on airport design with Material Source .

Last week, Manchester Airport was reported to have had its busiest day of the summer, with 111,000 passengers passing through on 23 August, jetting off to destinations including Palma, Dublin, Amsterdam and Dubai.

And this was just the footfall on one day, in one airport alone. In Newcastle, over 11,000 passengers were expected per day from Friday to Monday over the summer. And in the East Midlands, 19,400 passengers were booked for its busiest date in July.

Considering this with design in mind, we were keen to find out more about how the communal settings within airports are crafted to account for such a vast and diverse mix of people coming and going, especially in the summer months. And we knew just the design practice to ask.
