Yeah... Sorry... Still a bit dull on the photo front! Block and beam flooring going in with all the underfloor ventilation etc. The good news is facing bricks have been delivered so hopefully next week we can start working with a straight back!

First courses of block laid, steel delivered from and installed. Next step is drainage... And lots of it on this one. Bathrooms, utility, WC and kitchen drainage all to be internal. Keep the outside clean with a minimum of pipework.

I love a clean tidy site... But 🤦🏽‍♂️ here are some pictures showing the conditions we had to put up with just over a week ago getting the piling and foundations in. All piles went 10m deep and took far longer than planned. Combined with having to install heave protection and scramble around all the temporary services we got there in end! Massive thanks to Total Piling for helping us out again 👍🏽

We found all of the concrete digging this one out! Mass fill was the order of the day when the original extension was built, which left us with 4ft of old footings to get through and then rig up temporary soil pipe, gutters, kitchen waste and also mains water supply 🙄

Nice little job last week fitting two additional windows in a dining room. We extended the back of the house a couple of years ago and the customer decided more natural light was needed. The photos don't really do it justice but there's plenty of sunlight now and satin glass for privacy.

was let loose on the plastering trowel for the 1st time so that gave me a few hours to do a couple of other visits.

Sooooo close to finishing this kitchen now... Just waiting for the custom splashback so I can fit that, finish the workt...
