A few thoughts from today’s Warrington Chamber Plus | Networking/ Events/Business Support at Cineworld.
It was a fantastic event, with more than 250 people from businesses across Warrington and beyond coming together to network, collaborate and talk about the future of our town.
This year’s theme was sustainability, covering everything from transport to the practical changes businesses and SMEs can make. It fits closely with the work we do at Barrow Electrical, helping organisations across education, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution and commercial environments become more energy efficient through LED lighting, solar, smarter controls and energy management.
We were proud to sponsor the event, with Laurence Barrow’s face appearing front and centre on the big screen too! 😎
It was great to catch up with Sarah Hall MP, Stacey Whitney and Stephanie Houghton-Johns from Fireheart Digital, Hayden from Warrington Youth Zone, and so many familiar faces from across the Warrington business community.
We were also pleased to welcome Ged Tyrrell from Tyrrell Controls and Jimmy Moutray from North West Cancer Research as our guests, two brilliant people and organisations we’re proud to work alongside and support.
One highlight was hearing from Dave Thompson MBE DL MBA of Disability Partnership. Dave showed how a charity can be forward-thinking, sustainable and efficient, helping it do even more for the people and communities it supports. A massive well done to Dave and the whole WDP team. 👏
A great day of conversations, collaboration and looking at how we can all play our part in building a more sustainable and successful Warrington.
