What happens when a project requires a finish developed specifically for the space?

For The Hoxton, Southwark, we worked closely with Ennismore to develop bespoke wall and ceiling finishes around the requirements of the interior.

The process included:

Developing bespoke samples

Refining colour and texture

Selecting natural lime-based Venetian plaster finishes

Applying the chosen finishes across key walls and ceilings

The finished surfaces introduce subtle movement, depth and character while sitting comfortably within the hotel’s contemporary design scheme.

It’s a great example of how sampling and collaboration can help develop a surface around the specific design intent of a project.

How do you add depth to a luxury interior without overpowering the design?

At The Trafalgar St. James, an award-winning hotel overlooking Trafalgar Square, our Veneto Venetian plaster was used throughout the ground floor areas.

With it’s subtle movement, soft depth and refined finish, Veneto complements the hotel’s contemporary interiors while adding character to the surfaces.

It’s a good example of why the finish needs to be considered as part of the wider design scheme, particularly in a premium hospitality environment.

What role can texture play in a premium retail interior?

At Snow Peak London, the Japanese brand’s European flagship store, our Natural Quartz Finish was used to introduce subtle texture and movement throughout the space.

The specialist finish creates depth across the surfaces while sitting comfortably alongside the calm, understated design of the wider interior.

Phase two is currently in progress at our Holland Park townhouse project.

Our team are applying our Marmorin Hydro finish to a large swimming pool ceiling, creating a seamless decorative surface that brings depth, texture and sophistication to this luxury residential space.
