Just goes to show how important it is to have your boiler serviced regularly. This part is on a gas meter in a new build that is only 1 year old and it’s leaking gas!!

Called out yesterday to a boiler that kept locking out. Apparently it has been “serviced” recently. All this debris was found inside the condense sump causing it to block. Definitely not serviced to manufacturers instructions. Lots of engineers only carry out a safety check of your boiler and call it a service. This does nothing for the longevity of the boiler.

Cheapest isn’t always best 👍🏻
