Transformation of an existing rural dwelling.

The proposal retains and enhances the original structure while introducing a carefully composed extension, informed by local vernacular forms and materiality. A palette of iron stone, timber cladding, and simple agricultural inspired volumes reinforces the building’s place within its surroundings.

The scheme prioritises high levels of fabric performance, targeting advanced energy standards while ensuring long-term adaptability for multi-generational living.
