How to Create and Maintain a Beautiful Pond - expert tips for a polished, high‑end finish. 🌿💧🏡

We show how a pond becomes a signature garden feature rather than a maintenance burden.

Our 4‑minute guide covers planning (aim for at least 3 ft depth for stable temperatures; 600-800 sq ft is a sensible starting point for a fish pond),
choosing durable materials (EPDM liners can last 30+ years), planting a balanced mix of submerged, floating and marginal species, and keeping water chemistry in check (pH 6.5-8.0; keep ammonia and nitrite low).

You’ll also find practical advice on filtration, algae control, and seasonal care so your pond stays beautiful year after year.

We install and use the same proven products we sell, so our recommendations are experience‑led and results‑focused.

Read the full 4‑minute guide and tell us about your project - if you’re in London, Surrey or the South East we can advise on design, installation and maintenance.
