What is the correct depth????

A helical screw pile is at the correct depth when it:

- Reaches the specified design depth/founding stratum.
- Achieves the minimum installation torque specified by the engineer.
- Shows consistent torque indicating the required bearing capacity has been reached.
- Meets any required load/proof test criteria.

Depth alone is not sufficient—installation torque and the ground conditions are key indicators.

Equipment like the photo are used to provide the Torque reading.
