🚨 The Building Safety Levy came into force on 1 October 2026.

If you’re planning a residential development in England, here’s what you need to know.

🏗️ What is it?
A new charge on certain residential developments of 10+ homes and developments with 30+ student bedspaces, calculated based on floor area and local authority rates.

📋 How does it affect you?
Building control applications must include the relevant levy information, and payment must be addressed before the final certificate can be issued.

✅ What should you do?
Make sure your project meets the requirements and that the correct information is included in your application to avoid unnecessary delays.
